I know that politics is a no no on VFB but I am delighted to inform our members that Canada that Prime Minister Stephen (the bastard) Harper and his conservative party was soundly defeated in last Mondayโs federal Election. . Our new Prime Minister is 43 year old Justin Trudeau (son of late Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau) who now has a major task ahead undoing and repairing all the damage that Harper wrought. I started a petition asking people to vote strategically by voting ABC - Anyone But Conservative and that is coming from a person that used to be conservative but no longer. In order to aid and abet the oil industry, Harper weakened our environmental laws and the Navigable Waters Act which put both near and remote rivers and streams and the fish therein in jeopardy. God Save The Queen! ๐๐๐
