I disagree. You just think it’s an optical illusion because the world is flat.

Hi DonO:

I’s an optical illusion as the white snow covered upper section represents the 
freezing level. Below the freezing level the mountains are still there but 
don’t show up so well. I used a 70-200 mm telephoto lens which brought the 
houses in the foreground closer than they really are.


How did you get those mountains suspended up in the air like that?
