I’ve booked a house in May in Marathon, FL (Keys) for 10 days. Looked for months to find one with a great dock on a good waterway, and finally found one. Will rent a boat and have it days and nights (although night boating is a no-no) at the dock. Tarpon season will be in full swing, and one of the rental reviews stated that he caught a tarpon right from his dock. So I’m bring 5wt through 14wt. Bring it on. Will try some yellow-fin offshore on the fly. Glutton for punishment- and shushi. Have a guide booked for two days out of Fiesta Key- expert in tarpon on the fly. Can’t wait. Sun and fishing all day.
