white, and a bunch of permanent markers :)
You cheated, Pete - no Sharpies available ;-) "Sharpie" is a rather
generic term for markers, kinda like "Fridgidaire" used to be for
refrigerators (you're too young to remember that)....and a Hoover across
the pond is a vacuum cleaner.
I don't need six - Black, Brown, Flourescent red, Pink and mono.
HOWEVER, if I can use a marker of any brand, I'd add white to the above,
bringing my total to six
Actually, I tie 90% of my flies with black. However, seeing how well
Jack Harford does at catching fish, I may start using red. <g>

I tend you only use about six anyway, black, white, yellow, red,
orange and brown. I could also add mono which is clear and doesn't
count to the six because it doesn't have colour.

I just have a quick question. If you could only have 6 colors
of thread to tie with, doesn't matter what the denier or ought
is, and there were no Sharpies available, what 6 colors would
you choose?
