4/27/2016 Firstoff it has been some time since I have contributed anything
useful to this listeven though I read it each day.Itis always a pleasure to
hear from Tony and Al Fish. Istillmiss not tying at the Sow Bug each year but
since I live in Florida at thattime of year it makes it a little hard to
attend.Itwas good seeing some friends from Sow Bug like Fhissy Fellumand of
course Tony and his wife. They are good people. Ihave spent most of the winter
fishing for bass and bluegillswithoutmuch success on catching the Gills. Even
though I  have talked withAl Fish about several ways to catch them.Andthat
doesn’t seem to help.  I’ll justhave to wait until I get back up north.. This
last few weeks the bass fishing has beenunbelievable…in 9 days I have caught
and released 51 largemouth bass.  I have a confession to make though, I
caughtthem all on a casting rod.   Iknow…..please forgive me.   I triedevery
fly that I had in the vest and nothing seemed to do the trick.    For those who
want to know I caught themmostly on a rubber purple night crawler. Please
forgive this flyrodderandthe next time I am with Al Fish I will make my
confession. Goodfishing everyone  and God Bless all ofyou on the list.
