so you can spin it faster. I don't ever use that. Mine must be at least 12
years old, has a lifetime warranty, and I've sent it back to Norm for an
update once, all at no charge. Be sure you get either the Norlander or the
Ekich automatic bobbin. As previously stated, I use both, but find that for
traveling I use the Ekich the most as one doesn't have to take the time to wind
the bobbin with different types of thread. At home I use the Norland and Ekich
about equally. Check out the prices of a new vs. the used vise and see if the
older one is a better buy. Joyce
