Pete , the smaller Mustad 32 has a flattened end with no hole.

Surely, while tying the fly, you must have had to lash a piece of tippet material (probably 8X at a max) on the end of it with a loop in the end of the mono or thread so you could tie it to a leader. I have given away the few of them I had to tyers with better eyes and steadier hands. <g>

Comments? Clarification? History? Was it even fishable? (Maybe for minnows?)
