I just tried sending my submission from my camera and ring light setup, and I'm not sure if it went through or not. Could someone please let me know? I'm not seeing anything sent from myself to the group, so I have no way of knowing if it went through.
While here, I might as well say the recipe for the fly: Hook: 7xl streamer Body: orange floss Rib: 11 wraps silver oval lagartun tinsel Throat: 5 to 7 fronds bronze peacock herl overlaid first with yellow then white bucktail Wing: baby blue hackle "pad" overlaid with slightly smaller grizzle[y] hackle "pad", with excess baby blue showing above grizzle[y]. (The original says grizzle, I added the y, and I added the quotes around pad, as it means a pair of hackle tips) Cheek: Mallard flank or teal extended long, 1/2 to 3/4 the shank length (Optional, I omitted): Cheek overlay, jungle coque My fly's head is WAY more pronounced than I would have liked, but hey...
