Byard, Go to "Preferences" at the bottom of the "Edit" menu, then to "Formatting" under the "Mail and Newsgroups" section. You should find there what you're looking for. (But I'd still recommend you switch to Eudora.) Nisus's MailKeeper program is also attractive, though it's not free. (Cheap, though).
