Try tying them in a smaller size like 10 or 12. I fish them several different ways. One I call " The Chili Pepper Stroll" Cast quartering downstream, twitch while drifting, swing and hold. Let the chili rise and twitch back up with a rise and fall like a bug struggling back upstream. In Fast water I just dead drift with till the swing. Then twitch back up stream Most hits will be right after the swing. In still water I just strip at different speeds with pauses. Sometimes you have to strip as fast as you can and other times just hardly move it. I have no real special way of fishing it. It mostly depends on the type of water I am fishing or what I find the fish want. I can't remember but just a few times I have skunked out on this fly. Tony [EMAIL PROTECTED]
