     I use those  settings in Navigator myself, but they have no  effect in  the Mail 
client side
called "communicator"...  those settings relate to how your browser "Netscape" deals 
with websites'
html.....  I wasn't very specific in the previous post when I stated that I used 
Netscape
Navigator's mail client....  when it's (the mail client software) actually called 
"Communicator"

    Unfortunately, we are still at the mercy of the email writer, unless we find a 
setting within
the Communicator realm  which specifically  indicates that it will  convert HTML coded 
messages to
plain text....


    If I do  discover the answer for Netscape, I'll post the info.... 

  in the meantime, keep on keeping on!
