I am truly sorry Jimi. Losing a family member is like losing a piece of yourself. Come to find out the person that spent his teen years teaching me how to shoot like a marksman, took me camping in the dead of winter with only some minor gear and we hunted and fished for our food for days at a time and was my second best friend. He spent his life appreciating the outdoors and always thought it better to build a relationship rather than an acquaintance. When my first best friend died, ( my Dad), he and I disappeared for a week into the mountains just to contemplate life and regroup our feelings.  There was never a time when myself or someone else needed help or advice that he didn't drop everything and come to your aid. Whenever we would leave camp in the morning, whether trapping hunting or fishing, we would always say that we would meet on the other side of the hill.       Well, today my brother John went to the other side of the hill before me. He is setting by the campfire this evening with the saints and swapping stories, all of them true of course. I lost my Friend and my Brother today all at one time. I am missing a very big part of myself, mainly because our lives and our commitments have prevented us from seeing each other for way to long. Now I have a longer wait to see him.       Those you care about and those you love can be gone so quickly, please take a moment to contact them or just drop in and let them know that you care, you may not get a second chance tomorrow.       Didn't want to just sit here, I had to talk about him, no one around so hope you don't mind.
