The last time I fished Nahwatzel was about ten years ago and I remember caching perch and trout. We were trolling around dragging Hildebrand's and worms (eeekkk...)that was before I knew what a fly rod was. How do you fish the lake with a fly?... or for that matter any lake of size. I have a pontoon boat but I've always had terrible luck still water fishing with a fly... first the line scares the fish, then I can't get the fly out far enough to the fish, every time I've fished a lake with my pontoon boat and fly I never catch anything... If I plunk a spinner or bait Wham!.. am I just a terrible fly fisher?... any pointers?
