There comes a time when individual interest in the subject matter wanes.
After so many years and so many ties there is little left that may
interest a lot of tiers. It's hard to maintain the interest of both the
beginner and the expert over time.
 I at one time had all the publications I could find, several hundred
dollars a year. Now I browse the news stand and pick and choose.

I have really enjoyed Fly Fishing and Fly Tying out of the UK (Rolling
River
Publications).  It's a little more expensive but has some quality
articles
and information.
I agree with the sentiment on Fly Tying...let my subscription lapse....
