I dont think it would float dan! Get an older model houseboat. Keep it on the lake as long as you can handle the weather. If you insist on the tube, keep it tied up to the side as we do our little bass boat and fish away, come in, stretch out on the hide-a-bed love seat and eat and go out and fish! My idea of a perfect life. We stay usually all weekend and some during the week in the summer, and some of winter! Even has a bathroom (our first houseboat had a port a potty. very handy. the one we have now has a real head) If you still like your idea better, you may have to fashion one out of a Uke tire!
