I'm telling you guys, the fish were so thick you could walk across the lake on their backs. Bill was beating them out of his pontoon boat with an oar, and they almost swamped my float tube trying to get into my tackle box. I was scared for my life.

Well, ok, actually the fishing wasn't great, but we managed to catch some anyway. It sure beat Christmas shopping at the malls!!! The weather was beautiful. Cold, but clear blue skies and no wind. we could see the snow on the mountains as clear as if we were there and we had the whole lake to ourselves. Don Johnson sent us another Bill as his proxy, so it was just the three of us. (Thanks Don, Bill is a great guy)

Aside from getting cold feet, it was a great day, and I hope we can do it again some time. Any day fishing beats just about any day doing anything else.

Lake Nahwatzel fishing... hey it beats the heck out of going to the mall. The Northwest Challenge has happened. For those of you who missed it you can check out pictures at this link. http://www.datacomputer.com/flyfish/nahwatzel.htm
