that was an interesting to read, it makes you think what it must be like to be a soldier at war, especially at this time of year, and at any time. Although i am not American that poem hits home all the same.
I've just finnished my christmas dinner and i'm full to bursting point, the jokes and tales were flying around the dinner table and a good time was had by all. To think that i have had a smile from ear to ear all day, from opening my presents, to giving others gifts from me, to watching my young nephew riding his new trike bike back and forth along the street without even giving a seconds thought to all those American soldiers, British soldiers and any others that are serving us proud in Afghanistan right now, that poem just made me stop and think for a second what it must be like for them right now. Thanks for forwarding that message on, i appreciate it.
