Holiday greetings to all on the list and their families from the Fly Fishing Capital of Nevada! I wish you all the most precious of all gifts, good health! In practicing Medicine for 19 years I've not seen as many healthy young people show up with cancer, as I have during this past year! The biggest eye opener was my own wife, who is one of the healthiest people on the face of the earth, turning up with breast cancer. Fortunately, we can tell you from up REAL close that early detection is definitely the name of the game! Just yesterday I learned that a new flyfishing & tying friend who I don't believe is even as old as I am, has terminal bone cancer. A young lady in her early to mid thirties that I worked with for a few months shows up with liver cancer. We definitely take too much for granted when it comes to our health, and sometimes even when we do everything right, we lose. May you all enjoy this season, and those around you, family and friends, and cherish every precious minute of it!
