Hello All-

The latest issue of Fly Tyer magazine (no, not
starting another debate) has an article on tying some
very realistic looking mayfly nymphs. The main
material is a product called Nymph Skin. I've checked
a couple of the local shops and get either blank looks
or "yeah, I've heard of it, but don't know where to
get it" for a response. BTW, the article is by a
fellow named Steve Thornton, who live lives in Merrye
Olde England (MOE) and who by a striking coincidence
also markets the stuff.

Question one: does anyone know if Nymph Skin is
available in the US or is only a UK product?

Question two: has anybody tried this pattern (and
product) and are there any hidden problems, not
mentioned in the article? It looks like an interesting
tie, not easy, but not overwhemingly difficult,
either.

Thanks for any responses. If someone who lives in MOE
can get their hands on some Nymph Skin, maybe he could
get hold of me off list and we could do a swap or
something.

Happy New Year to All.

                          -John
