Bob, you've found one of the secrets. Relax and let it come and don't give
up. It becomes so easy you don't have to think about it. Soon you'll have
that 20-second perfect dubbed tail and the one-minute caddisfly larva, if
you don't already.
I just have to wait now 'til my wife gets home so she can shoot the MPEG
whilst I tie.
My Maciva shoots 60 second MPEG's, so I'll do some <60 second ropers, and
then try for a 60 second Awesum-Hair Sardine.

That is going to be great to see! DonO I got the Hell Dubbing to rope for
me. Guess I just got too impatient with it! Rope dubbing is becoming
second nature already. It is a great method you can get any effect you want
with great durability & segmentation!

Thanks

Dan,
I shoot an MPEG of the tying (in motion) tonight and post it on Byard's
site. Less than 60 seconds.

I have looked at the pictures, now I'm still at a loss. I missed something
somewhere. This may sound dumb, but how do you form the rope. I can see
where it's similar to a single thread dub, please someone show me the next
step. Dan Gober
