I received a message last night from Jack Dennis about Gary's condition. It was a group-addressed email to friends of Gary including some on this list. Jack and Mike visited Gary the 1st week in Dec. and reminisced about the good ol' days. It was a tearful message about the condition of their best friend. I'm waiting to hear back from him to let know if it's OK to post that letter to this site.
I called the home where Gary was this morning to see how he was and he was still alive at that time. I asked the person who answered the phone how he was doing, and as you can expect, the answer was not good, but he was awake and could hear. I asked the person to tell him hello from me and that I had a letter coming to him. She said she would tell him. Shortly after that a good friend passed away.
