Subject: [VFB] Long terible day !

Hi Folks,
Got up early this morning and headed off to El Paso for my BI Annual
check up on my back. Got there a bit late due to road construction but the
Imaging crew was waiting for me. They injected the dye, ( That stuff really
hurts after a bit), and then rolled me into the tube for 45 minutes. The
longer I lay there the more that crap hurts. Afterward the results were sent
over to my doctor and I saw him about 2 PM. Good news and bad news, good
news is that I am no longer diagnosed with "Progressive Degenerative Bone
Disease" the bad news is that the new diagnosis is " Degenerative Bone
Disease of an Aggressive Nature". It seams that when I don't follow
instructions and limit my lifting, bending, stooping etc. It causes the
degeneration to accelerate. He informed me that that is why I have been in
sever pain for the last 8 to 10 months. I have new scripts that I will pick
up hopefully tomorrow and see if I can force myself to follow the directions
given me by my doctor. Hard part will be that if I do get the pain
manageable not to do stupid things that I cant feel.
I guess the good news would be that I can get a little time at the bench
to tie some flies.

Jimi
