      BILL/OTHERS...
    Here's the Dressing for my Yuba Stone:
          YUBA STONE
      ----------------------------
      HOOK = any 4X nymph/Streamer hook you have; I use Dai-Riki 700s
             myself, sizes #6-12
    THREAD = 6/0 Brown
    WIEGHT = 6-7 wraps of proper sized Lead or Non-Lead wire
      TAIL = two Brown round rubber Hackle strands,about twice the
             gape of the hook, splayed on either side of Hook.
   ANTENNA = As tail, only longer
 SHELLBACK = Golden Stone THIN SKIN, width is equal to gape of hook
       RIB = Copper or Gold Wire
      BODY = Golden Stone BUGGY NYMPH dubbing, or any Synthetic Dubb-
             ing in a Golden Stone coloration...slightly tapered to-
             wards the front.
  WINGCASE = As Shellback, but wider.
    HACKLE = Brown saddle hackle, tyed in by tip & wrapped 4 times
             over thorax.
    THORAX = As Body, but dubbed thicker....

 I designed this Nymph for the Yuba River in Northern California.
During the winter(Jan-mar.) SKWELLA STONES are hatching & very active
in the River...you can get great surface activity in the dead of
Winter from steelhead with this stonefly!!!! SKWELLA stones look very
much like Golden stones & this Pattern also works great on the Golden
stones...in the right Sizes. Fish this under a strike indicator &
fish it SLOWLY across the bottom...the takes are soo hard I don't
fish this nymph on tippet smaller than 8 lb. test.....Enjoy
