Bill, Indicator fly is what us visually challenged anglers use when upsream nymphing. It is a nice dry fly with high Bouyancy, tied high up the leader, with a weighted nymph at the point, so that when the nymph is taken the dry fly moves, thus indicating to the angler it is time to strike...
