thanks for your opinion. I have a similar experience with them. Bought only
the extended hooks once, ties 2 flies and was not convinced. Tried one of
these fliese, didn't caught a fish. You explained it very well: You are
stuck in the proportions of these hooks, adds weight. I'll stay with the
traditional ones.

BTW: Recived the Dai Riki hooks the other day. MY first Dai-Riki hooks,
don't know where to get them here. It is the #270 in Sz 14. I use a lot of
curved hooks for my tying, can't await to check the new ones out. Happily I
bought 200, 100 for the caddis swap, 100 for me..

Regards from rainy Germany... but carnival is starting, weather doesn't
matter. Was yesterday on the first 'Sitzung' with my kids. STOP, NO
