I personally like the three inch ones that don't have a curved tip but are
curved at the handle downward thus fitting nicely in the palm of  the
hand..favorites are black ones (no glare) with serrated edge, 3 inch size
made by Dr. Slick. However, I have a cheap pair, made by Fishwest I believe,
no serrations, but very nice arrow point scissors and cost about 3.00.. I
put them in the brake at car class and bent them to exactly the same
configuration as my 12.00 Dr. Slicks and have been quite enjoying them. I
think the important thing is that if you are doing hair work, they do have
serrations, and that they fit nicely in your hand, neither too big nor
small, and that the tips are very small and fit well together, no gaps.
