Tom, I apologize if my message offended you - it certainly was meant to be tongue and cheek - as I am sure your oblique reference to lawyers was!  You must admit that every year a number of healthcare "professionals" commit various abuses  and some are even convicted of various forms of Medicare and Medicaid fraud, just as many shyster lawyers  are convicted of various forms of malfeasance and fraud.  Besides, you were the one that complained about the use of disposables first.  I suspect that a large number of those "s.o.b.s  with a 7 figure salary in the board room" are physicians.

Once again, no offense was intended.  To paraphrase something we once heard in a different context, "A lot of my best friends are doctors."

And that's why your just a business man(or worse, based on your e-mail address) and I'm a Health Care Professional, always with the patient's best interest in mind!  Everyday that goes by that I get the chance to screw an insurance company is a happy one for me.  It's one of the most pleasurable parts of my job!  I thought your comment was one of the most insensitive, rudest, inconsiderate, and assinine,(but typical) things I've heard in a long time!  I care if the "expense is born by the patient," and so do all of those Doctors & PA's just like me!
