No offense taken Mike.  Yes, there are worms in every garden...  The physicians who really piss me off are the ones who are not good enough to practice REAL medicine, so they wind up as "medical directors" for insurance companies.  ANYWAY, I've always been on the lookout for those flyfishing/tying  "applications..." so therefore doing my small part to see to it that things don't get wasted.  Over the years the disposable suture set thing represents only an isolated opportunity... I've put to good use everything from pacemaker electrode stylets to little plastic boxes from sample medications, to laytex strips used as tourniquettes for phlebotomy.  Just like Mother Nature, trying not to wast anything! :-)
