I am not sure what you are talking about on some of that stuff, but I can see that I will have to get my flyfishing doctor friend to give me a tour of his supply closet!   mike  ANYWAY, I've always been on the lookout for those flyfishing/tying  "applications..." so therefore doing my small part to see to it that things don't get wasted.  Over the years the disposable suture set thing represents only an isolated opportunity... I've put to good use everything from pacemaker electrode stylets to little plastic boxes from sample medications, to laytex strips used as tourniquettes for phlebotomy.  Just like Mother Nature, trying not to wast anything! :-) Happy Tying!
