When you signed up on VFB, you signed up to the email
list. The list tends to be pretty "chatty" especially
among the regulars and oldtimers. There is a chatroom,
but a lot of back-and-forth still gets done on here.
On the plus side, there's a lot of excellent
information on flyfishing and flytying that comes
across here, too. If you want off the email list, just
go to the email choice on the menu at the VFB website
and follow the directions. BTW, welcome to the list,
it really is a great place if you have flyfishing
related questions, there are people from all over the
world who are engaged in every sort of flyfishing,
some you may never have thought of.
