Matt get some emery or jewelers cloth and hone it glass smooth. I have
never cut my thread using it and I have spun with 8/0 thread.

> Bob, good idea. Anyone know if there is a packer out there that has the
brassie shape but is made of plastic or ceramic? I know the brassie i have
cuts thread badly. I like to use plain gudebrod 3/0 to spin with (one of my
odd preferences) and the brassie i have tends to slice it. The brassie
definately works better but if it cuts the thread once every fly it defeats
the purpose. Bob, thanks for the article offer. List, Thanks for any help
finding my product. Matt(Grasshopper)
