[VFB] zonker question

What kind of Hackle would be appropriate for a zonker pattern?  Are glue on 
eyes ever appropriate?  They are for bass.  I am using green Chenelle for 
the body and olive zonker stips.  What else would compliment they fly?  any 
tips on fishing would also be apperciated.
