Hello my friend,
Theresa, Amanda and myself are doing as well as can be expected.
Occasionally the cats will knock something off or make a sudden noise that
will make us jump but other than that we are doing ok.
Theresa and I have everything cleaned up. Broken stuff thrown out and
everything washed. Doesn't look like anything happened on the surface.
Sorted out the Fly tying stuff and had to toss some of it, it had been
stepped on and ground into the floor so it just wouldn't straighten out no
matter what I tried. Still have to sit down and fix a couple of things so I
can get back to tying. Used an old speaker magnet to hunt for hooks. Worked
fairly well but as we have discovered, it didn't find all of them or some
were hung up in the carpet pretty bad. Now comes the fun part of sorting
them out. Six of the flies for the swap have not been found. I have found 3
of the hooks though. Will see about finishing them up as soon as I can get
my equipment up and tie them. Would it be ok if I used a similar hook for a
couple of them if I cannot find any more of the "Challenge" Hooks ?
Have been out to the property a few days working on it. It has been just
to cold and windy to do to much. Temps have been running in the low 40's
with 30 mph winds. My back just cant take much of that before it stiffens
up. This after noon I am just taking it easy and resting a bit, I really
over did it a couple of days and have been paying for it. Located some
salvage lumber and am starting to work on the sub floor for an add on to it.
Will think about walls and everything else as I can locate materials. At the
best estimate we need to be living there by April, at worst by March. So
much to do and so little to do it with but I never give up hope or stop
trying. The best thing about it is that when it is "Livable" and we are
there that "No One" can tell us to leave. Will be a nice feeling when it
comes.

How are you doing after the vandals messed your home up? Are Theresa and
Amanda ok. Dan
