" I finally got so infuriated at a prolonged spell of fishlessness that
I decided to stick with the fly I had on, which happened to be a light
Cahill size 14. By season's end I found I had taken just about as many
fish as I had the year before, when I had carried consistently close to
five hundred flies in my overstuffed fishing clothes and made a
concientious effort to use them all. Still another year, after a
weekend of great success with the Cahill bivisible spider size 16 I
stuck to it the rest of the season and wound up doing just about the
same as the other two seasons. "
