I just started tying with A Jungle Fowl Hen skin that I got from Ebay. If you are into soft Hackle you might give these feathers a try. The bird looks like a "Normal Chicken" but here is a link to a site with both the male and female birds (as well as a bunch more exotics) http://www.cyborganic.net/people/feathersite/Poultry/NDG/BRKGJF.html The hackle stems (so far) have been both supple and strong, so they tye in with not too much problems. The color is a chocolate with black and light cream mottled throughout. The neck itself has feathers resembling the Whiting Farms "Laced" feathers. All in all a good $13 investment. The Peacock soft hackles I tye on gold Kammasan hooks look great with these feathers as well as some golden stone soft hackles that I'll be trying the end of the month on steelies.
