I used to take too much stuff until I followed
Tony's advice......
I make up zip lock bags of the materials needed
for each pattern.

I put all the "glues" in a seperate bag and
tupperware container. I heard a horror story of
a tyer who got to his destination opened his
bag and everything was covered in glue.
I have 2 rectangle tupperware boxes that fit into
the carry on with the materials inside. My vise goes in
a seperate padded bag. My tools go in a smaller
box. I take a extension cord and power strip bar.
I do not have a fly tying portable bench which
would be good for the table without a ledge.
I just take a small tool caddy.

I fit everything into a carry on (22")with wheels.
