Hi Eric,
There is a Mysis Shrimp that you may be referring to. My notes are that Bill Fitzsimmons came up with the pattern to represent scuds.  The materials are:

Hook: TMC 200R           Size: 16-20
Thread: White Monocord    Size: 6/0
Abdomen; White Fur;
Legs; White Ostrich Herl; Palmered
Rib; Pearl Flashabou;
Tail; Pearl Flashabou and White Hackle
 Eyes; Monofilament Nymph Eyes;

Do a web search using "Mysis Shrimp" and you might get some hits.
