Hope to upgrade
to the master one day.

Hi  Bob!

The only things I can think of with the Master are it has a wider range of hook sizes it will accomodate, and it has a lever cam mechanism for opening and closing the jaws, which I prefer.  I was under the impression that that was now an option for the Traveler?  If you tie a lot of large streamers and salt water stuff, you will find the  Master frustrating due to the lack of space behind the fly.  I've certainly enjoyed mine, and have had no problems with it.  Perhaps I should get one of those "Clouser arms" for it.  The reason I got mine is because it is supposed to be able to handle the widest range of hook sizes.  If I would ever get another vise, I'd look at the Dyna-King Barracuda.

Happy Tying!
