Hi Dan, and All,
My back got me up at about 2 AM this morning, I finished repairing the
damaged flies and also got the remainder tied. Only thing is that 3 have
eyes and the rest don't. I could not find any eyes after the break in. All I
need to do is find an envelope and get them in the mail. Unfortunately they
are not all identical due to what happened, but the concept is there.
Hopefully I can find an envelope that will fit this evening and get Theresa
to drop them in the mail tomorrow.
I headed out to the trailer about 7:30 this morning. I managed to finish
framing up the sub floor today for the add on, kinda got interesting for a
bit. Had to measure all the lumber and make it as wide as the shortest
piece, came out to 9' 6". Had to crawl under the trailer and dig up the
propane line so I could move it over about 14". Just got in a bit ago,
another cold front blew in with 40 + MPH winds about 4:00 and shut me down.
Hopefully tomorrow I can do some horse trading for some windows for the
house. Will hopefully be able to do some figuring and start on trying to
frame up some walls tomorrow afternoon.
Am going to lay down on the floor for a bit and rest. Will check the
mail before I go to bed. This swap has "truly" lived up to it's name for me.
Jimi
Sounds good to me. This has been a real challenge swap. I have flies from
everyone except Jimi, Steve Nichols, And Ron Tenthorey. Jimi's got more than
enough to worry about, so if it's ok with the rest I think Dean has the best
solution. Steve had his problems, he was to have mailed his flies a while
ago. Ron promises to have his in the mail this week, again things happened.
I have received some of the best flies anyone could ever ask to receive in a
swap. So with everyones permission I would like to wait a bit longer. Steve
and Ron If you haven't try to get your flies out this week. My email is
working really weird, so please post your replies a couple of times. This is
still a terrific swap, I'm learning a lot more than how to tie flies. Dan
