Hey Murf:  Hooooray for our side.  This sport/art of ours seems to open many doors.  Besides, sometimes an 8" brook trout is plenty of reward for our "efforts".

Just had a visit from my insurance adjuster.  I was warned most of my water
damage would be covered only in a limited manner by the lady taking the
claim.  When the man arrived, he was polite and friendly and I was resigned
to his estimate being low.

Before he reached the table to put down his briefcase, he noted today would
be a great day for fishing as I had told him I took off work to meet him.
Turns out he's an avid tyer and FFer.  We swapped stories, showed him my fly
bench, some rods and pictures.

After hearing about his last trip to MT and his plans to fish Argentina, I
shared some of my secret spots and we plan to fish the tiniest brookie
streams in the upcoming weeks.  All this after comparing largest game fish
catches, we decided on little 6-8" brookies.

My conditions will include a tying session before the foray.  This fella
knows a lot of water and how to fish it but I want to see his flys.  He
prefers drys but gave away his use of streamers by asking about how often to
clean his line since his stripping was not as smooth as before.

Was an enjoyable morning and his wink told me I'd get a fair reimbursement
for my damages.  Lina said; "You know flyfishermen and tyers are such nice
people!"  Amen, Lina, amen.
