OK Now for a wild and possibly stupid question. It has crossed my mind that being less than 2 miles from Lake Brantly, it might be a profitable venture to open a "Bait, Tackle and Camping" store on my property. Mainly carry camping food, bait,( I know bad word, will wash my mouth out later) and flies as well as other light tackle. Q is, dose it sound like a good idea considering that the closest store, ( without any kind of camping or fishing supplies) is 20 miles north, and the next is 28 miles to the south.
Main thing is that it would be seasonal, would have to be considered after I get the trailer done and we can live in it and would have to build a separate building for it. Of course it would be either run on a shoe string to start, or find some kind of investment capitol, (LOL). What is the consensus as to a reasonable start up and possible suppliers for tackle and Fly equipment, ( BTW Fly Fishing is starting to gain interest here) Any insight would be appreciated. Jimi
