[VFB] Sink Tip Question

There have been times when a 20' full sink tip on Amnesia mono has made a big difference in finding the fish over a Uniform Type IV or Full Sink line. I'm fishing about 20-25' depth, stillwater. My assumption is that there is a dog leg in my line with the sink tip, but am I deeper or shallower than my uniform sink lines?? And , another thing...., I love the feel of the fly through that Amnesia line. You can feel the slightest tug (or weed).
