Favorite flies and water...hmmm. I guess the ultimate catch for me would have to be a large brown on a tiny fly (a 22 midge will do nicely) on a small spring creek with a moderate/soft 3wt. in hand. Or would it be stripping 2 inch streamers through deep pools with cruising Rainbows...hehe. I guess I like trout on just about whatever I'm lucky enough to get 'em on.
