Shay I hate to open a new can of worms but I think you would be better off
making furled leaders.  I have some that are in there 3rd year of use with
no sign of letting go.  One of the things I like is there ability to act as
a shock absorber.  I fish alot of micro patterns & with tippets test out at
1 or 2 pounds this is a great asset!
