Gary, Marabou blood feathers are short feathers, basically without any substantial stem running to the tip, and 'square' on top. Great feathers for doing marabou streamer wings. They are not very suitable to palmer, btw, due to the absence of the stem and the overall short length of the feather. Cheers, Hans
