[VFB] Bobbin help,

Folks as some of you know a while back we were broken into and a lot of
stuff really torn up. I have been dealing with a problem since then that has
finely come to a head. Both of my bobbins were stepped on and bent, I
straightened them out the best I could but no mater what thread I use I
cannot tie a fly without the thread breaking 4 or 5 times. This last one I
did it broke so many times I was about to dub the ends. Any suggestions as
to how to salvage these ?
