That is what makes St Clair so great it averages less than 10 feet!

Subject: [VFB] Talk about big musky!!!!!

Hey Bob
A few years ago I did a night dive on Georgian Bay In Ontario. We were down 80 ft + trying to entice jumbo perch into the goodie bags. The fish were sleeping on a ledge when they awoke and scattered. I looked up to see what I thought was a log floating in the dark. I shone the light up and the fish swam to the light. I couldn't believe the size of this musky. It was almost as long as I when swimming together. I would estimate over 80lbs easy. When I tried to put my arms around it the fish swam down the ledge. We couldn't follow due to dive time restrictions. I could not see the bottom of the next ledge. I heard a story of very large fish living deeper the this. They are said to live over upswell springs coming up from the bottom. We'll never get our fly gear down to this level, so that makes these fish the material dreams are made of
Anyone else got any ideas

Cheers
RON
