Howdy folks! yep, you guessed it.... time to think of warm
September afternoons on the beaches of Cape Cod, good friends and
fantastic food!
time to think of Striperheads!!!!!
Just reserved the fish barrel site, site 117....
this being exactly 6 months from D Day.... Striperheads will be
held on the weekend Sept. 20, 21. 22 this year, with folks coming in
as early as the 16th, of course....
Things look good..... Full Harvest moon expected, extreme tides,
and timing is perfect for two shots at the Brewster Flats, first thing
in the morning , and evening into night under a full moon, depending on
clouds, of course!
More details and web site update to follow, just the declaration
of intent here, and as foolish as you might think, reservation
warning! It gets tougher and tougher each year to get in on the
Cape.. even after Labor Day.. (unfortunately they even close some of
the campsite) So the sites are reserved quick.... two in our area
were already reserved for the following week , if you can believe it!
