Oops! Accidentally sent the first post on this subject before I was done.
Anyway, Dave has had to discontinue manufacture of the "Super-light" because
production costs were too high, and no one was buying at the price he needed
to charge to make a profit. He sold the units at the show for $100.00 below
cost, and is selling the remaining inventory at cost... so if anybody is
interested, now is the time to buy one.

For me, this is the perfect alternative to my Outcast PAC-800. I can take it
to remote locations easily and still enjoy most of the advantages I'm used to
having.

You can buy them on-line at Dave's Angler's Inn website,

I have no affiliation with Dave's business, but I consider him a friend and I
think he makes the finest Pontoon craft in the industry. Dave designed most
of the "Outcast" product line, and has now branched out and is selling
pontoon craft under his own name, "Dave Scadden Pontoon Craft" <A

http://www.davescaddenpontooncraft.com/</A> Dave's first consideration in
all of his product designs is "how will this fish" and "will it be easy and
reliable to use". Then he builds it and finds out how much it will cost.
This is refreshing to me in a world where profit margin is often the first
priority in design... "how can I make this cheaper to make more money".
Dave's products tend to cost more than some, but they are always well made ,
well engineered, and fish well!
