I fall in with Tom.  Let's let dean have enough time to tie the flies if he still wants to.  I'd like to see all the flies. If I were in his situation,  and still wanted to participate, I'd probably be grateful for the opportunity.

Of course, I'm not speaking for the group, but I would vote for giving Dean a week or two to finish up the couple dozen or less flies and stay in the swap!  Hell, at this point a couple more weeks isn't going to make any difference at all.  Also, Dean should not feel bad about anything.  This is just flytying, our jobs come first...! :-)
